Phase 1 of Mainnet begins!

We are finally there! After a long wait, it’s real and it is happening, last week we had the good news of the audit being finished, and after reflecting on their feedback, we were confident enough to set concrete dates for each phase of going Mainnet and here we are, entering phase 1.

While this phase is progressing, we will continue working on infra related things such as charting & analytics to have it ready for the next phase.

The following phases will start on these dates;

Phase 1 — (26th Jan — 2nd Feb) — Early Liquidity Provision

Phase 2 — (3rd Feb) — Opening swaps functionality

Phase 3 — (4th Feb) — TGE & Full LAUNCH

Early Liquidity Provision & Earning Yield

The heart of any chain & DeFi project is liquidity, and that’s what phase 1 is about. The phase 1 will last for 7 days and the goal is to bring as much liquidity as possible over to Sapphire in order to kick start the ecosystem.

In order to earn extra Yield, you would have to add liquidity and then add the LP tokens to the respected farm. To learn more about farms and lockup periods, read more here.

While the pairs above will have farms and require a balanced input of each pair, $IX token is special and is single sided and only requires the $IX token.

Bridging into Sapphire

Bridging into Sapphire is easy, fast and typically takes only a few minutes. We have built an interactive tutorial walking you through the process of how you can bridge your funds from any supported EVM chain into Sapphire through illuminex.xyz and how you can bridge ROSE from consensus layer into your EVM wallet on Sapphire.

The tutorial covers steps such as:

— How to purchase ROSE, CEX and other non CEX alternatives
— How to configure your EVM wallet
— Interactive step-by-step guide to bridge your funds from a supported EVM chain into Sapphire

To bridge into Sapphire, start the journey from our bridge tutorial and select whether you are bridging ROSE from Consensus layer or assets from an EVM chain and the tutorial will reflect those changes and walk you through the required steps required for you to take to bridge your funds to Sapphire.

Adding Liquidity

Adding liquidity is a straightforward process and no different from the traditional DEX process you already is familiar with. To learn more about how to add liquidity, you can proceed by following the guide we have here.

Additionally, after adding liquidity, you have the ability to enter farms that will yield you $IX emissions. Each respected farm have a set base APR that is dynamic taking market related things into consideration. Along with that, lockup periods also change the APR, play around with the lockup period and see what works best for you!

Airdrop

Alright, alright…Over the past few months we have been asked countless times “How do we qualify for the aidrop?”, Yesterday we announced in our tweet that users who bridge to Sapphire and add liquidity may qualify for one of the airdrop eligibility requirements. The sum is not disclosed as it gives Sybil farmers an advantage and not the community.

Apart from this criteria, there are several other eligibility requirements that will raise the tier of airdrop you may receive.

Audit

The audit is finished and audited by Dedaub. In a few days they will release the official Audit report on their Github profile. We have posted the same audit report in our Gitbook docs.
